Guided Hikes

Let our local, friendly, fun guides give you the inside scoop into Squamish’s sensational world-class trail systems.  Choose from a wide array of hikes in the Sea to Sky; from a gentle natural environment interpretive hike to strenuous approaches on technical terrain.  We have hikes that start from the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola.  All of these tours include your gondola ticket, a $39 value.  All tours require a minimum of 2 people.

Al’s Habrich Trail

Access the Alpine in style, take a ride in the new Sea to Sky Gondola to the start of your hiking adventure. Al’s Habrich Ridge Trail is the flagship backcountry hiking trail. Sweeping, epic views of Howe Sound, Skypilot Mountain and Habrich itself, the trail weaves through old growth forest, ancient glacial formations, creeks and waterfalls and offers a half to full day excursion for those seeking a little more from their hike. Dotted with granite outcroppings, sub alpine meadows and the picturesque Neverland Lake, Al’s Habrich Trail is not to be missed.

Sky Pilot Valley Trail

Access the Alpine in style, take a ride in the new Sea to Sky Gondola to the start of your hiking adventure.  This spectacular adventure follows the valley that lies below Mount Habrich and terminates at treeline near the base of Sky Pilot mountain. This is a relatively gentle walk along the valley, with great views of Sky Pilot and across the valley to Goat Ridge.

Summit the Stawamus Chief

The Chief, towers high above Squamish and provides panoramic views in all directions.  If you have ever wanted to climb a mountain, this hike is for you. Let our knowledgeable and friendly guides lead you up the back trails, up ladders, over chain-lines and up a smooth rock scramble to the awe inspiring views from the top.

Guided interpretive tour | Four Lakes Trail

Nestled among towering mountains, dense forests, and lush meadows, Alice Lake Provincial Park is one of the most popular camping and day-use spots in the Sea to Sky Corridor. The Four Lakes Trail hike is a fairly flat trail with some sections that have a slight uphill, and is great for beginner hikers and families.

The trail follows winds through dense wooded groves of Cedar, Hemlock and Douglas Fir trees, over small rolling hills and creeks, and past four quaint lakes pocketed in the lowland woods; Alice Lake, Stump Lake, Fawn Lake, and Edith Lake. This hike offers stunning views of the quintessential Pacific Northwest rainforest.

Let our experienced and knowledgeable guides lead you through an interpretive hike of the Four Lakes Trail. This hike is a mellow jaunt in the woods for the more reserved hiker who wants to experience the spectacular rainforest and mountain scenery in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Snacks are included, and a packed lunch can be arranged.

Join us this summer for a unique guided journey through the temperate rainforest of Squamish’s Coast Mountains. Follow our local, knowledgeable guide on a hike through Smoke Bluffs Park and Crumpit Woods with an emphasis on photography, enjoyment and growth.

Enjoy unique views of the Coast Mountains including Garibaldi Mountain, The Chief, and Lapworth, as well as views of Howe Sound and the community of Squamish. The tour provides excellent landscape, naturalist and portrait opportunities, as well as photography tips and tutoring. Learn about Squamish’s natural history and local recreation cultures as you meander along wooded trails and cliff tops while capturing lifelong memories.

The route covers steep and occasionally rocky terrain along moderate to difficult paths, so all participants are strongly encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and bring plenty of water. Light snacks will be provided.
